John Marston

John Marston is a Stz’uminus artist from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. John carves according to Coast Salish tradition and is recognized for his amazing carvings on Vancouver Island and in Vancouver. John needed a website that would convey his professionalism while showcasing his art. I created a simple wordmark to be used on print and digital material. The website has subtle creative elements such as a wood-grain background, parallax animation, and a unique gallery layout. These were created to focus the attention on his art, and not to distract away from it.
